Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test highly available and resilient software solutions.
- Build and operate scalable data workflows, including pipelines, transformations, and integrations supporting fraud analytics and machine learning models.
- Develop across the stack, including data layers, APIs, and front-end integrations.
- Own systems end to end, including delivery, monitoring, incident response, and ongoing iteration.
- Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate fraud and risk requirements into scalable solutions.
- Follow security, confidentiality, privacy, and other applicable policies and controls.
- Mentor teammates and provide technical leadership while promoting engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Python and the ability to write well-tested, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational and/or analytical data stores.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework such as Vue.js.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building applications with cloud-native, service-oriented architecture.
- Preferred: experience with Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, AWS data services, data modeling, transformation, orchestration, Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure as code.
- Fluent written and oral English communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
