Responsibilities
- Lead application development involving GUI design and software/hardware integration for test equipment products.
- Participate in and lead the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Design and implement software for complex, high-performance systems in a multidisciplinary team.
- Work with Customer Support and customers to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Mentor team members and break down tasks for the team.
- Coordinate and prioritize deliveries with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Application Engineering, Operations, Validation, and hardware development teams.
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of software development experience, including demonstrated expertise with embedded platforms, Qt, and C++.
- Required experience with Linux multithreaded development.
- Required UX experience and at least 3 years of significant Qt and QML experience.
- Strong software engineering skills in architectural definition, task identification, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to work with hardware development engineers and interface with custom hardware devices, including interrupt-driven interfaces.
- Experience using an efficient development process to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Preferred experience with Java and/or Python, Linux kernel development, and network/TCP/IP protocols.
