Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, performant user interfaces with React and modern JavaScript.
- Build reusable component libraries and design systems.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, state management, performance optimization, and micro-frontend implementations.
- Develop and maintain Node.js backend services, APIs, or BFF layers as needed.
- Own Jenkins CI/CD workflows and manage source control with Bitbucket and Git.
- Track technical work and scoping in Jira.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and MCP-like tool-use patterns.
- Champion accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and pixel-perfect implementation of Figma designs.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical best-practice initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ and asynchronous programming patterns.
- At least 5 years of hands-on React experience with hooks, component composition, performance optimization, and state management such as Redux Toolkit.
- 5–9 years of professional frontend engineering experience, including 2–4 years on production React applications at scale.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive layouts, CSS-in-JS or utility-first frameworks, and frontend architecture patterns.
- Experience with Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Vite, and/or Webpack.
- Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Devin, including prompt engineering and agentic workflows.
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures and Module Federation.
- Experience writing unit tests using tools such as Vitest, React Testing Library, Mocha, or Chai.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and their application in frontend architecture.
- Preferred experience with SSE or real-time streaming, mentoring or feature-team leadership, TypeScript, Docker, and Kubernetes.
