Responsibilities

  • Lead teams building comprehensive Zero Trust solutions for users, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Design secure hybrid architectures with segmentation, identity-based access, workload isolation, secure API communication, and cloud-native Zero Trust controls.
  • Coordinate coding, unit testing, software scans, builds, staged deployments, and releases across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
  • Lead service delivery across multiple software development lifecycle phases and manage project commitments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SecDevOps, CI/CD, rapid release, and end-to-end automation practices.
  • Build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain SecDevOps environments and security-embedded build environments.
  • Develop and maintain secure AWS and multi-cloud deployments.
  • Integrate project products into Zero Trust and SecDevOps environments.
  • Document security, configuration management, source control management, release, and build procedures.
  • Design, configure, and support software build and deployment pipelines.
  • Use Ansible, Terraform, Docker, ECS, EKS, and ECR for infrastructure automation and containerized deployments.
  • Align cloud security controls with FedRAMP and federal cloud security frameworks and support automated posture validation.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management preferred.
  • At least 10 years of software development experience is required.
  • At least 7 years of combined software development and technical operations support experience is required.
  • Deep understanding of credentials, identities, authentication, SSO, applications, workloads, endpoints, networks, data, automation, security analytics, SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence is required.
  • Experience with monolith and microservice architectures, containerization, and Kubernetes is required.
  • Knowledge of CNCF-compliant software stacks and OCI-compliant containers is required.
  • Ability to manage projects end to end with minimal supervision is required.
  • Expertise in branching, merging, and archiving software throughout the development lifecycle is required.
  • Experience managing system changes without user interruption is required.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven, Gradle, npm, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and scripting is required or preferred.
  • GovCon experience and technical lead experience are preferred.
  • Candidates must be willing to undergo a government-issued background investigation.
