Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement C# application software, measurement IP, and system components for RFIC test systems.
- Own systems and features from definition through release, including reusable designs for future systems and opportunities.
- Collaborate with global R&D teams, business managers, system architects, application engineers, and customers on dependencies, releases, and critical issues.
- Provide technical leadership, drive technical decisions, lead initiatives, and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in code reviews and recommend architecture, process, quality, and development-efficiency improvements.
- Lead customer partner concerns and critical issues through effective resolution.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience developing application software, systems, or ATE for test and measurement, preferably RF.
- Hands-on design, development, and debugging skills in C#.
- Familiarity with post-silicon validation and production testing using NI RF instruments, drivers, and NI STS.
- Experience validating and characterizing RFIC devices or components such as RFFE, power amplifiers, transceivers, filters, and switches is preferred.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, RF instruments, VST, VNA, RFSA, RFSG, protocol analyzers, and function generators is preferred.
- Experience with NI hardware, RF drivers, STS, LabVIEW, TestStand, RFmx, and RFIC test software is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, presentation, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
