Responsibilities
- Define and champion a 12–18 month platform strategy and align cross-functional teams.
- Provide thought leadership in designing AuthN and AuthZ architectures for multi-region environments.
- Oversee architecture ensuring backward compatibility and data integrity.
- Set and uphold SLOs and lead incident management and performance optimization.
- Ensure privacy and regulatory compliance while driving cost-efficient decisions.
- Perform high-impact code reviews and contribute to performance optimizations.
- Partner with PMs and teams to deliver reusable platform components.
- Mentor Senior and Staff engineers to elevate engineering culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional backend development experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin/Spring-based service development.
- Proven experience designing and operating web-scale microservices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
