Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python services, integrations, reusable libraries, APIs, frameworks, and data pipelines supporting AI agent functionality.
- Implement and optimize workflows using LLMs, embeddings, RAG systems, and vector databases.
- Integrate AI/ML libraries and external APIs including OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Pinecone, and Weaviate.
- Use prompt engineering and fine-tuning to improve the reliability and performance of deployed agents.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, testing, performance monitoring, and deployment stability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on requirements, architecture decisions, documentation, and enterprise agent deployments.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience as a Python Engineer or Backend Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript for integrations.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and tools, including OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, and RAG.
- Understanding of system integration patterns, RESTful APIs, JSON, and data pipelines.
- Strong debugging, testing, and optimization skills, plus the ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, Helpdesk, developer platforms, or HR/Finance systems is a plus.
