Responsibilities
- Own complex features from design through delivery with autonomy.
- Make architectural decisions and document trade-offs in architecture decision records.
- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate ORM, and Oracle SQL.
- Build extensible systems using plugin patterns, hook registries, and runtime configuration.
- Develop adaptable frontend interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, reactive forms, and schema-driven rendering.
- Design Kubernetes deployment patterns for multi-tenant systems using ConfigMaps and Secrets.
- Design CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Apply input validation, secret management, tenant data isolation, structured logging, distributed tracing, and production observability.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through code review and pairing.
- Identify security, isolation, and performance risks during system design and break large problems into independently deliverable increments.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Java experience.
- Strong production experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience designing REST APIs with separation between public contracts and internal domains.
- Experience with Hibernate ORM and performance-aware Oracle SQL.
- Experience building extensible, configurable systems that avoid customer-specific code changes.
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript, including component architecture, reactive forms, and schema-driven rendering.
- Experience with Kubernetes, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and multi-tenant deployment patterns.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Ability to own implementation independently, make architectural trade-offs, mentor engineers, and assess non-functional risks.
