Responsibilities
- Design and code new applications and enhance existing applications.
- Take ownership of assigned application development projects and provide project leadership.
- Architect solutions and determine the optimal utilization of AWS services.
- Perform code and design reviews with peers.
- Troubleshoot issues and apply problem-solving skills to ongoing initiatives.
- Research and apply new technologies and areas within computer and data science.
- Collaborate effectively on agile teams and help deliver quality products.
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science.
- At least 8 years of experience with strong Java knowledge.
- Experience with the Spring framework and REST web services.
- Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route 53, S3, API Gateway, and SQS.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent troubleshooting, follow-through, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies, research new areas, and apply them to ongoing initiatives.
- Passion for collaboration and working on agile teams.
