Base Salary
$82k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production AI applications using Gemini models and Vertex AI.
- Design and implement single-agent and multi-agent systems using Google ADK and related Google agent capabilities.
- Develop agent tools, function-calling integrations, state, sessions, context management, memory, approval workflows, error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
- Integrate agents with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, operational systems, enterprise knowledge, and structured business data.
- Build RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, retrieval, grounding, and retrieval-quality optimization.
- Develop agent evaluation pipelines, golden datasets, regression tests, guardrails, and production observability.
- Trace and debug agent and tool execution, agent loops, incorrect tool calls, orchestration failures, hallucinations, context failures, and retrieval failures.
- Build Python supporting services and REST or event-driven integrations.
- Deploy AI applications and services on Google Cloud, containerize workloads with Docker, and use serverless or Kubernetes platforms.
- Implement IAM, service accounts, secrets, Terraform, logging, tracing, monitoring, and operational diagnostics.
Requirements
- Hands-on ability to personally design, code, deploy, evaluate, and troubleshoot enterprise agentic AI solutions.
- Experience building production AI applications with Gemini and Vertex AI.
- Experience designing AI agents, tool and function-calling integrations, agent orchestration, agent state, sessions, context, and memory patterns.
- Experience building enterprise RAG pipelines and diagnosing grounding, hallucination, context, and retrieval issues.
- Experience developing evaluation pipelines, regression tests, agent tracing, guardrails, and reliability or observability capabilities.
- Proficiency with Python and experience developing REST or event-driven integrations.
- Experience deploying applications on Google Cloud and working with IAM, service accounts, secrets, Docker, serverless platforms, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Ability to work from incomplete business problems to working code and debug solutions in customer environments.
