Responsibilities
- Develop innovative software solutions and applications for digital transformation and tax service delivery.
- Design, code, test, and optimize scalable software products and enterprise-grade data pipelines.
- Use Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, and Azure data services to build data engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology-driven solutions into tax services.
- Apply data interpretation, critical thinking, and technical standards to generate insights and recommendations.
- Set up CI/CD, automated testing, and version control for reliable deployments.
- Build client relationships, anticipate team and client needs, and navigate complex engineering challenges.
- Mentor junior team members and support their skill development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, an MBA in a finance-related field, or M.Com.
- At least 3+ years of experience.
- Oral and written proficiency in English.
- Strong technical background and experience with the Databricks platform, including workflows, DLT, Asset Bundles, Unity Catalog, and Genie.
- Strong data engineering experience with PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks.
- Extensive experience with Azure, including Azure cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Azure data services.
- Deep understanding of data modeling techniques and Delta Lake, data warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, version control, distributed systems, and Apache Spark.
- Experience with Genie and other AI capabilities on Databricks is highly desirable.
