Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Python or Go backend services for enterprise authentication, authorization, billing, and tenant provisioning.
- Build and evolve SAML, SCIM, OAuth2, and SSO integrations.
- Develop organization-scale RBAC and ABAC systems.
- Build billing infrastructure for invoicing, usage-based charging, and flexible pricing models.
- Implement audit logging, usage tracking, and metering pipelines for compliance and billing accuracy.
- Improve enterprise onboarding and tenant lifecycle management for reliability and scalability.
- Support SOC2, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements with security and compliance teams.
- Partner with infrastructure engineers to ensure enterprise features are performant, reliable, and observable.
- Work directly with enterprise customers to translate requirements into secure, scalable platform capabilities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented backend code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Python or Go, with both preferred.
- Deep knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, JWTs, and SCIM.
- Experience building and scaling RBAC or ABAC access-control systems.
- Experience building billing or usage infrastructure in SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, APIs, and modern distributed backend infrastructure.
- Comfort with enterprise security, compliance, and multi-tenant architectures.
- Prior experience building enterprise-grade SaaS or developer platforms.
- Strong ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.
- Background in security, observability, or developer infrastructure is a plus.
- Familiarity with LLMs, GenAI applications, or agentic frameworks is a plus.
