Base Salary
$184k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Computing product roadmap by identifying infrastructure improvement opportunities with peers and Product Managers.
- Improve team-owned infrastructure performance, costs, governance, and scalability.
- Act as a technical reference and mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and documentation.
- Participate in technical forums and cross-functional discussions while documenting technical decisions.
- Identify technical and product issues, propose mitigating designs, and develop solutions to team-level challenges.
- Understand and improve the capabilities and limitations of owned systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including AWS EKS.
- Experience with access management, AWS IAM, and role management.
- Experience with Karpenter, KEDA, and HPA scaling tools.
- Experience with the Golang programming language.
- Ability and willingness to share knowledge and mentor other engineers.
- Creativity and analytical thinking to identify opportunities for improving a computing platform.
