Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the assigned territory.
- Serve as a trusted expert Solutions Architect and product champion who builds technical credibility and drives customer adoption.
- Develop and deliver customer-facing presentations, demonstrations, workshops, collateral, and thought leadership.
- Co-plan account strategies with Account Executives and coordinate efforts across GTM and R&D teams.
- Translate field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Partner with GSIs and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
- 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
- Experience architecting transactional data solutions integrated with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations.
- Proven ability to influence OLTP product roadmaps using market insight.
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Proficiency programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two areas including data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- An undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field.
- A track record of completing complex projects in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
