Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical strategy for core Insider Risk engineering systems.
- Lead architecture and delivery of scalable, secure, privacy-conscious platforms covering risk signals, detections, behavioral analytics, investigation workflows, and case orchestration.
- Negotiate priorities, dependencies, technical tradeoffs, delivery plans, and platform integrations with enterprise partner teams.
- Translate sensitive and ambiguous risk scenarios into practical engineering solutions with Security, Legal, HR, Privacy, investigations, data science, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain discretion, confidentiality, privacy, and compliance in the design and operation of Insider Risk capabilities.
- Mentor and influence engineers while raising standards for design, code quality, reliability, security, operational excellence, and responsible data use.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- Candidates must provide citizenship or permanent residency/protected-status documentation as required for export-control and citizenship-based legal restrictions.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Previous cybersecurity and Insider Risk experience is preferred.
Benefits
- Typical U.S. base pay range is USD $142,800–$274,800 per year; different ranges apply in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- The role may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
