Base Salary
$134k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering work delivering high-quality, maintainable software for complex applications.
- Develop applications supporting the product-data publishing process across internal tools and customer-facing systems.
- Partner with Product Managers, business users, and architecture stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Coach and mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, participate in pair programming, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Promote sensible engineering defaults that support continuous delivery.
- Maintain production software, triage and resolve issues, and participate in an evening on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a similar field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer designing, building, and deploying scalable software applications.
- Expert programming skills with full-stack software development experience using technologies such as React, Java, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of distributed system design and backend integration patterns, including REST APIs, event-driven systems, and asynchronous workflows.
- Experience using AI agents to understand existing systems, write code, and improve workflows.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex problems and processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
