InformaticaResponsibilities
- Own the development and operations of a critical tier-0 Temporal orchestration service.
- Address scale and availability challenges as customers and service demands grow.
- Proactively identify and prevent drops in service availability and reliability.
- Build and deploy backend APIs on public cloud infrastructure.
- Build a working Temporal worker and workflow while developing familiarity with Hyperforce architecture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and concurrency.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as Go or Java.
- Strong backend experience developing REST/gRPC APIs and working with databases.
- Experience architecting and deploying backend APIs on public cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Spinnaker, Agile development, and Test-Driven Development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or OpenStack.
- Preferred: experience with SQL or NoSQL datastores such as PostgreSQL, Aurora DB, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
