Responsibilities
- Define and drive QA strategy, test plans, and automation standards.
- Build and maintain UI and API automation using Selenium or Playwright with Java.
- Review test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports while tracking automation coverage and quality metrics.
- Debug and troubleshoot manual and automated testing issues, including root causes and CI/CD pipeline failures.
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to support seamless software delivery.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong expertise in UI and API automation testing using Selenium or Playwright with Java.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and automation framework design.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments, CI/CD practices, and automation framework integration.
- Proficiency with Git, Jira, and qTest or equivalent tools.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, Gherkin, Cucumber, Maven, and the Maven build lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analysis, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Jenkins and Docker is required.
- Bash or Python scripting and performance or monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Gatling, or JMeter are preferred.
