- Design, develop, and execute test cases for automotive infotainment systems.
- Develop and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate multimedia, connectivity, navigation, HMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice, and other infotainment features.
- Analyze software requirements and create test plans and strategies.
- Debug issues, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
- Execute test campaigns on hardware platforms and simulators.
- Track, report, and manage defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Generate test reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.
Requirements
- Requires 3 to 6 years of experience in automotive infotainment testing.
- Requires strong Python programming and scripting experience.
- Requires understanding of test automation frameworks, test methodologies, software quality processes, and the testing lifecycle.
- Requires hands-on experience validating infotainment features including media, connectivity, navigation, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice, and HMI.
- Requires experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
- Requires knowledge of Linux and Android-based infotainment platforms.
- Requires experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Requires strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Robot Framework, PyTest, CANoe, CANalyzer, or Vector tools; exposure to ASPICE, CI/CD integration, cloud-connected vehicle services, OTA testing, ISO 26262, and automotive cybersecurity; and understanding of embedded systems and automotive software architecture.
