Responsibilities
- Advocate for product quality while collaborating with software engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Design and deliver risk-based test plans using scenario, exploratory, scripted, manual, and automated testing methods.
- Support on-time releases without compromising quality.
- Partner with software engineers to identify coverage gaps, automate repetitive tasks, and build regression test coverage.
- Develop and improve testing infrastructure and automation frameworks.
- Provide feedback on new functionality, features, and process changes.
- Identify and prevent corner-case defects.
Requirements
- At least 7–12 years of software development or test framework development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure tools such as AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks with tools such as TestNG, Cypress, Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, or Jest.
- Expertise in test-driven development and multiple levels of automated testing, including unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Self-directed, curious, action-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to communicate technical problems clearly.
- Willingness to challenge and improve existing practices.
