Responsibilities
- Advocate for product quality while collaborating with software engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Design and deliver risk-based test plans for new features and functionality.
- Choose appropriate scenario, exploratory, scripted, manual, and automated testing methods.
- Partner with software engineers to identify coverage gaps, automate repetitive tasks, and build regression test coverage.
- Drive testing infrastructure, automation testing, developer productivity, and CI/CD improvements.
- Provide clear feedback on functionality, features, and process changes while uncovering or preventing corner-case defects.
- Help ensure releases meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Require 7–12 years of software development or test framework development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure tools such as AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks using tools such as TestNG, Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Jest.
- Expertise in test-driven development and developing unit, integration, and functional automated tests.
- Self-direction, curiosity, attention to detail, strong communication, and willingness to improve existing practices.
