Responsibilities
- Manage global production deployments from repository management and automated image building through containerization and Kubernetes deployment.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and provide cross-regional deployment support across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
- Write infrastructure and application code and provide full-lifecycle support for running applications.
- Drive infrastructure modernization through code and infrastructure reviews and adoption of current technologies.
- Research, benchmark, and test emerging cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, and alternative software platforms and architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on DevOps experience specializing in Kubernetes ecosystem management.
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes and container technologies including Docker and Podman.
- Experience with Git and Kubernetes-oriented CI/CD tools or pipelines, including Bitbucket, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of IT networking, including Kubernetes CNI, ingress/egress, DNS, and integration with external enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with declarative configuration using YAML.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for multicultural collaboration.
- Experience with Apache Airflow is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, is preferred.
