Responsibilities
- Manage global production deployments and the end-to-end CI/CD lifecycle, including repository management, automated image building, containerization, and Kubernetes deployment.
- Serve as the primary deployment contact across Europe and Asia-Pacific time zones and provide full-lifecycle support for running applications.
- Write and maintain infrastructure and application code and participate in code and infrastructure reviews.
- Modernize infrastructure and evaluate emerging cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, and alternative software platforms and architectures.
- Research, benchmark, and test technologies that support scalable business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on DevOps experience specializing in Kubernetes ecosystem management.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Experience with Git and Kubernetes-oriented CI/CD tools or pipelines, including Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of IT networking, including Kubernetes CNI, ingress/egress, DNS, and integration with external enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with declarative YAML configuration; FastAPI experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for collaboration in a multicultural environment.
- Preferred experience with Apache Airflow and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
