Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Prepare technical design specifications with product management and architecture stakeholders.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, and engineering initiative planning.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and assist and mentor development staff.
- Guide technical conversations, foster learning and communication, and help teams deliver successful outcomes.
- Provide architectural direction for cloud, DevOps, AI modernization, automation, and engineering toolchain initiatives.
- Communicate technical direction and recommendations to executive leadership, peers, development teams, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- Significant experience designing and implementing or enhancing new and existing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Significant experience in analytical systems engineering, design, and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products using microservices architectural patterns and extensible APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains, with the ability to translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Preferred experience with application monitoring tools, performance assessments, AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
