Base Salary
$204k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Report to the Manager of Onboard Software Performance.
- Develop modular architecture improvements and frameworks for performance maximization.
- Evolve compute usage for scaling performance on vehicles and in data centers.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve compute performance bottlenecks.
- Work with hardware teams to optimize software for performance on hardware platforms.
- Ensure low latency for collision avoidance and design fast performance systems.
- Develop high-scale performance evaluation and software change management processes.
- Optimize system resource usage for cloud simulations.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Math, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a software engineer or in similar roles.
- 5 years of experience in C++ programming.
- 3 years of experience optimizing software using profile-guided techniques.
