Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Automate build, deployment, monitoring, and incident response workflows.
- Collaborate with software engineering, QA, security, and platform architecture teams.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for service availability and performance.
- Drive reliability through performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident management.
- Establish standards for environment consistency, security compliance, operational excellence, and developer productivity.
- Evaluate tools and technologies and report platform performance, reliability metrics, and DevOps maturity to stakeholders.
- Mentor peers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Alibaba Cloud, including multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Extensive experience with GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking, security best practices, cloud architecture, distributed systems, debugging, and problem solving.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Hands-on experience with Git.
- Preferred experience includes cost optimization, cloud governance, security and compliance frameworks, blue-green deployments, canary releases, progressive delivery, service mesh, microservices architecture, and globally distributed systems.
- B.E. or M.E. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
