Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed and full-stack systems.
- Provide technical leadership and individual contributions across mobile, web, and backend engineering squads.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for Card customer onboarding.
- Use JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services to build solutions.
- Design, build, and orchestrate multi-agent workflows using advanced AI frameworks and agentic orchestration architectures.
- Stay current with technology trends, participate in technology communities, and mentor engineering team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience with at least one of JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service preferred.
- 3+ years of mobile development experience on iOS or Android preferred.
- 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks preferred.
- At least 1 year of people management experience preferred.
- Experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion preferred.

- Annual base salary ranges by location from $179,400–$204,700 in Chicago, $197,300–$225,100 in McLean, and $215,200–$245,600 in New York.
- The role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including potential cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
