Base Salary
$150k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with ML researchers to develop, productionize, and deploy ML-based projects for clients.
- Retrofit client systems to integrate the team's solutions.
- Maintain and support production systems.
- Develop systems to manage and reuse ML models across the Firm, with a focus on MLOps.
- Package, patch, debug, profile, and performance-engineer software and research libraries.
- Develop tooling and platform solutions for real-world problems while following security policies.
- Build and maintain systems and code samples that promote and bootstrap ML development across the Firm.
- Design ETL pipelines and work with infrastructure, data tiers, containers, cloud technologies, and distributed computing systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of related technology experience.
- Strong background in Python and Java/C/C++.
- Experience with development, packaging, patching, debugging, profiling, and performance engineering.
- Familiarity with trading systems and core hardware and software infrastructure.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Buildah, Kubernetes, or similar container technologies for packaging and runtime.
- Familiarity with cloud and cloud-enablement technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Terraform.
- Understanding of relational databases, object stores, graph databases, and ETL pipeline design.
- Linux system-level experience, including building software and debugging.
- Ability to take ideas from research through execution and clearly explain complex concepts through documentation and diagrams.
- Preferred qualifications include Dask, Ray, Spark, open-source development, mathematics, data science, deep-learning deployment technologies, model monitoring tools, CUDA, ROCm, GitHub workflows, and financial-sector experience.

- Expected base pay is $150,000 to $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
