Responsibilities
- Own feature development and product rollouts.
- Develop extensible solutions for complex mission sets.
- Build microservices that extend user-interface capabilities.
- Write software to improve products and scale mission capabilities to additional customers.
- Lead resolution of user-facing issues from remote sites through on-call support.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design through testing and deployment.
- Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in operational environments.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Robotics.
- At least 2 years of experience building React applications.
- At least 2 years of experience building tools and platforms using Go and other cloud-native technologies.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Preferred: strong architectural engineering skills.
- Preferred: experience with NixOS.
- Preferred: experience with containerization and orchestration software such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Preferred: knowledge and experience with control software.
