Base Salary
$156k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across frontend applications, backend services, and real-time systems.
- Create data pipelines and internal tools for adding information sources and maintaining industry coverage.
- Improve agent-based parsing and extraction systems.
- Own work end to end, including data inspection, quality assurance, instrumentation, production releases, and ongoing fixes.
- Develop a company ontology and an earnings research product.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building, shipping, and operating production systems, with approximately 7 years or fewer of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production agentic AI systems or LLM-based applications.
- Full-stack capability with Python backend development, FastAPI or an equivalent framework, TypeScript, React, data pipelines, and SQL.
- Experience with relational database design and optimization, preferably PostgreSQL, plus AWS infrastructure and deployment.
- Experience with production observability, distributed-systems debugging, and real-time data or streaming updates.
- Strong ownership and depth in at least one of backend engineering, data infrastructure, applied AI, or product engineering.
- Capital markets, equity research, investment banking, financial services, modern data tools, edge computing, or AI/ML tooling experience is useful or preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required, along with a full-time commitment and ability to work on-site in New York City.
Benefits
- Base salary is $156,000 to $182,000 annually.
- Work is on-site in New York City five days per week, with candidates required to be local or willing to relocate.
