Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own a core product or engineering domain from architecture through implementation, launch, and improvement.
- Build and optimize multimodal AI agents for voice, SMS, email, messaging workflows, and cross-channel conversation state.
- Set quality practices for nondeterministic systems, including evaluations, prompt versioning, guardrails, and drift detection.
- Work across React and Next.js frontends, Node.js backends, and Python services.
- Speak with customers, synthesize feedback, and independently make product decisions.
Requirements
- Typically 3 to 8 years of full-stack engineering experience, including building and scaling products from 0 to 1 in a startup, founder, or new-product environment.
- Production proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, plus experience with LLM APIs or agent SDKs.
- Strong depth in agent state and memory, AI evaluations and guardrails, B2B2C or marketplace architecture, or production voice and messaging agents.
- Experience with product decisions, customer discovery, and delivery without a dedicated product manager.
- Ability to work across application and backend systems; Python experience in real-time voice pipelines or evaluation tooling is beneficial.
- Strong AI or agent systems experience, including low latency, reliability, and nondeterministic behavior; strong computer science fundamentals or founder experience with demonstrable product traction are valued.
Benefits
- Base salary of $180,000 to $250,000 USD annually.
