Base Salary
$124k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot secure, stable, and scalable full-stack software components.
- Build and maintain web applications using Java/Spring Boot and React.js within a microservices architecture.
- Write high-quality code and resolve technical problems while considering upstream and downstream system impacts.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation.
- Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding standards, and responsible AI practices.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making in application development.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle processes and contribute to application resiliency and security.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency designing and developing full-stack web applications with React.js and Java/Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices architecture patterns and modern programming and database querying languages.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Preferred: experience using AI technologies to build scalable, secure, and measurable business applications.
- Preferred: exposure to cloud technologies.
