Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot applications and backend services.
Build event-driven solutions using Kafka and asynchronous processing patterns.
Develop and optimize database interactions using MySQL and SQL.
Write clean, maintainable, testable code and create unit and integration tests.
Participate in code reviews and follow established architecture patterns and coding standards.
Troubleshoot production issues, monitor application performance, and support deployments.
Contribute to platform modernization, reusable components, and technical documentation.
Own features from development through production support.

Require 3–6 years of software development experience with Java.
Require strong experience with Spring Boot, backend service development, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, and concurrency.
Require experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle.
Require familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, Git, Maven or Gradle, and Linux environments.
Prefer experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Prefer experience modernizing legacy Java applications and with monitoring, logging, tracing, and performance tuning.
Prefer experience with high-volume transaction or workflow-processing systems.
Seek strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, ownership, and learning abilities.

Hybrid work arrangement in Pune, India.
Individual contributor role focused on software development and component ownership, without people management, architecture ownership, or infrastructure administration.
