Base Salary
$152k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-throughput data ingestion services using gNMI, gRPC, and P4-Runtime.
- Write algorithms and controllers for dynamic traffic rerouting based on real-time link health.
- Architect and maintain structured data models using YANG for network state.
- Develop internal RESTful and gRPC APIs for querying network topology and performance metrics.
- Optimize Go/Python services for high-cardinality time-series data without latency.
Requirements
- Professional experience in Go (Golang) or C++ with a focus on memory safety and concurrency.
- Deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack and interactions between Management, Control, and Forwarding planes.
- Hands-on experience with TSDBs like Prometheus or InfluxDB and using OpenTelemetry.
- Experience deploying management microservices via Kubernetes and using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
