Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable checkout APIs and software architecture using PHP and Go.
- Translate complex business requirements into clean, idiomatic Go implementations in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Build high-throughput, low-latency APIs using Go concurrency primitives such as goroutines and channels.
- Optimize MySQL queries and indexing and implement effective Redis caching patterns and data structures.
- Own technical initiatives from design through production deployment and make pragmatic technology decisions.
- Apply testing, pair programming, automated delivery, and other modern engineering practices.
- Mentor developers through code reviews and collaborative sessions while improving team engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
- Strong experience with modern PHP 8+ and frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
- Deep experience writing idiomatic Go and using goroutines and channels.
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and distributed-system design.
- Strong experience optimizing MySQL and Redis data and caching layers.
- Hands-on experience or active interest in GenAI tools for development workflows or product features.
- Ability to independently solve complex technical problems from design through deployment.
- Strong English communication, collaboration, code-quality, and peer-mentoring skills.
