Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test frameworks for embedded software.
- Define test requirements and strategies with software and hardware engineering teams.
- Perform integration, regression, performance, and network communication testing across platforms and environments.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution with development teams.
- Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal and customer deliverables.
- Validate software release deliverables and ensure quality standards.
- Use Python and Bash for test automation and data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in software or system testing, preferably for embedded systems.
- Strong experience developing and executing system test cases for embedded software.
- Experience with Linux-based embedded systems and network communication testing.
- Understanding of IP networking fundamentals and protocol testing and debugging.
- Proficiency with Python and Bash for test automation.
- Proficiency with Git source control and CI workflows.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Preferred experience includes automated builds, test execution, artifact management, deployment pipelines, hardware-in-the-loop testing, system integration testing, and testing radar, SIGINT, EW, autopilot, PNT/guidance, unmanned systems, or RF signal chains.
