Responsibilities

Design and own infrastructure from initial architecture through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Make independent technology and architectural decisions based on project needs, business discussions, and engineering standards.
Automate cloud-native environments using Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, CI/CD, and GitOps practices.
Manage containerized and orchestrated applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Monitor and improve production system performance, reliability, security, and observability.
Diagnose and resolve issues in production environments.
Collaborate with and share knowledge across an experienced DevOps team.
Potentially develop toward a DevOps Team Leader role.

Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Practical experience managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
Experience with containerization and application orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Good knowledge of Linux and environment administration and automation.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of GitOps solutions, particularly Flux.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch or equivalent solutions.
Ability to diagnose production issues and optimize system performance and reliability.
Willingness to share knowledge and develop toward a DevOps Team Leader role.

Experienced DevOps team, mentoring, internal initiatives, and cross-project knowledge sharing.
