Base Salary
$67k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-volume, business-critical production platforms for financial services clients.
- Build services, APIs, and microservices for enterprise applications.
- Own assigned workstreams independently from design through production support.
- Apply engineering, testing, automation, TDD, CI/CD, and automated regression testing practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, testing, operations, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute practical improvements and mentor less-experienced team members where appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant software development experience with business-critical, enterprise-wide applications.
- Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and C#.
- Experience building APIs and microservices architectures for high-volume platforms.
- Experience with SOAP, JSON, XML, log4net, uDeploy, Jenkins, SQL Server, IIS, Oracle, Ant, Maven, and Groovy.
- Experience with Oracle and the ability to write and tune SQL queries.
- TDD, CI/CD, and automated regression testing skills are a plus.
- Containerization and AWS exposure are a plus.
- Preferred experience includes Entity Framework, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure, GenAI developer productivity tools such as Copilot, and distributed databases such as CockroachDB.
- Financial brokerage domain knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work in Agile environments, collaborate with stakeholders, learn quickly, and travel up to 30% of the time.
