Base Salary
$141k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized distributed services that process real-time events and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, defend, implement, deploy, and operate critical features and subsystems across the software development lifecycle.
- Write primarily Go and SQL-based data pipeline code and use Kubernetes for service infrastructure.
- Own code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and solve customer problems.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience with Go, SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- API-level or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience delivering containerized services, preferably on Kubernetes.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge; networking and security controls experience is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- Willingness to learn continuously, follow technology trends, and work collaboratively.
