Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to complex enterprise customers.
- Lead customer workstreams, discovery sessions, requirements definition, solution design, and implementation direction.
- Guide customers and colleagues in adopting emerging technologies and agentic delivery approaches.
- Manage risks, customer expectations, complex negotiations, roadblocks, and issue resolution through completion.
- Review and correct program direction, project approaches, and key artifacts to keep solutions on track, extendable, and maintainable.
- Present complex concepts and solution recommendations to technical, business, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Partner with Customer Success, Product, internal practice teams, customers, and third-party partners to deliver business value.
Requirements
- Solution Architect level requires 7+ years of relevant enterprise project experience and 1+ year in regulated industries.
- Sr. Solution Architect level requires 10+ years of relevant enterprise project experience and 3+ years in regulated industries.
- Director, Solution Architect level requires 14+ years of relevant enterprise project experience and 5+ years in regulated industries.
- Extensive experience configuring and customizing the Salesforce platform.
- Expertise defining system architecture landscapes, identifying current-to-target-state gaps, and delivering comprehensive solutions.
- Experience leading discovery, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and producing detailed system and functional designs.
- Experience documenting business processes and wireframing system designs with process flows, UML, and sequence diagrams.
- Strong presentation, written communication, listening, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience delivering enterprise implementations with multiple workstreams and working across waterfall and agile software development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is preferred; equivalent demonstrable work experience may substitute.
- Proven agile delivery results, customer or partner success leadership, relevant Salesforce certifications, and consulting experience are preferred.
- Veeva experience for life sciences/pharma or Financial Service Cloud experience is strongly recommended.
