Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, resilient, secure systems for high-traffic and real-time environments.
- Design AWS-native serverless solutions using AWS services and architect agentic and MCP solutions.
- Define cloud infrastructure requirements for platform teams and estimate effort for planning and budgeting.
- Optimize AWS performance and cost using CloudWatch and observability tools.
- Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance best practices.
- Mentor teams on AWS architecture patterns and best practices.
- Provide subject-matter expertise, advisory guidance, and solutions spanning multiple teams.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on cloud technologies.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend architectural improvements.
- Make and influence technical decisions across multiple teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience, including 6+ years in cloud architecture.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Deep expertise in at least three AWS services, including services such as AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, SES, Amazon MSK, Amazon S3, Amazon Aurora, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, agentic AI architecture, effective prompting, and Amazon Q.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.
- Experience designing scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting for cloud deployment and management.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification and AWS ML Specialist certification.
- Excellent communication, leadership, influencing, and advisory skills.
- Good-to-have experience with Amazon Connect and AWS architecture.
