Base Salary

$79k - $113k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Integrated Solutions Test plans, procedures, and automation tools.
Test hardware and software against system requirements and interface specifications.
Participate in requirements, operational scenario, and use-case document reviews.
Apply a System-of-Systems approach to test integrated solutions across multiple systems and subsystems.
Execute regression cycles, preserve test results and reports, and log defects.
Manage test procedures and artifacts through configuration management.
Conduct peer reviews and contribute to Integrated Solutions Test scope estimates.

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
7–10 years of experience in software testing principles, verification, and validation.
Experience with test automation technologies and scripting tools such as Python, JavaScript, and C#.
Understanding of network design principles, including TCP/IP and UDP; Class D and EMP message structures and packet analysis are preferred.
Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and requirements-management tools such as IBM CLM and DOORS Next Gen is preferred.
Experience with systems design, segment testing, and integration testing.
Railroad, locomotive technology, operations, hardware, software, communications, and infrastructure experience is preferred.
Exposure to AI-assisted engineering and testing tools, generative AI, machine-learning-based analytics, and intelligent automation is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Occasional domestic and international travel of up to 10% may be required.
