Base Salary

$130k - $186k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across data centers and public cloud environments.
  • Apply expertise in routing, switching, segmentation, connectivity, and traffic management.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network configurations and infrastructure code.
  • Use Jinja2 templates to generate and manage network configurations and automation artifacts.
  • Automate network provisioning, configuration management, compliance checks, and operational processes.
  • Diagnose complex network issues using packet captures, protocol analyzers, logs, monitoring platforms, and diagnostic tools.
  • Support network provisioning, break-fix work, enhancements, migrations, and new initiatives.
  • Implement changes according to change management, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain network diagrams, configurations, procedures, standards, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects and partner teams to assess requirements, recommend solutions, and coordinate implementations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide planned after-hours support when required.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of professional network engineering experience, including substantial hands-on core networking experience.
  • At least three years of hands-on infrastructure-as-code or network automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for testing, validating, or deploying infrastructure code or network configurations.
  • Experience using Jinja2 templates for configuration generation or automation.
  • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, HSRP, and VRRP.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting LAN and WAN networks, including VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, link aggregation, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with public cloud networking in Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure; Google Cloud experience is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting highly available production infrastructure and following formal change management practices.
  • Experience in distributed, multi-data-center, or SaaS environments.
  • Experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and operations using Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with partner teams.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support and planned after-hours work.
  • Preferred experience with Google Cloud networking, including routing, load balancing, NAT, firewalls, or hybrid connectivity.
  • Preferred experience with Fortinet or Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and F5 load balancers.
  • Knowledge of VPN and tunneling technologies including IPsec, SSL VPN, and GRE.
  • Familiarity with SSL certificate lifecycle management, network monitoring, protocol analysis, or WAN and ISP connectivity.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, or a public cloud networking certification are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure security, compliance, or Agile practices is beneficial.

  • The pay range is $129,500 to $186,100 in base pay, with potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses and restricted stock unit awards.
