Base Salary

$87k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, modern cloud solutions for Public Health data modernization.
  • Architect and deploy solutions in AWS and hybrid cloud environments while following engineering and cloud governance standards.
  • Lead a team of 5–10 developers and guide technical teams through complex cloud challenges.
  • Develop, configure, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise applications and IaaS environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and data modernization stakeholders on technical strategy, design, implementation, and delivery.
  • Apply automation, cloud security, DevOps practices, and cloud cost-management approaches.
  • Research current on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to recommend appropriate tools and solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience designing, configuring, and administering enterprise applications in cloud environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing with .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL.
  • Experience managing a team of 5–10 developers and leading technical teams.
  • Experience architecting and deploying AWS and hybrid-cloud solutions and developing secure cloud-based architectures.
  • Experience with Gen-AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting IaaS environments and Linux or Unix-based systems, including shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferred qualifications include cloud cost-management and governance experience, CDC processes, data modernization, federal IT environments, a related master’s degree, and AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud certifications.
