Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, maintain, support, and optimize software applications.
- Implement solutions supporting applications, databases, test automation tools, DevOps processes, and COTS products.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and deliver corresponding technical solutions.
- Partner with customers to develop innovative solutions.
- Perform peer reviews using software engineering principles, patterns, and development guidelines.
- Provide on-call support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, incident management, and service request management.
- Coach, delegate, and review the work of less experienced staff and serve as a technical knowledge resource.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree specializing in STEM or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.
- Ten years of experience.
- Demonstrated technical skill in at least two general-purpose programming languages or listed technologies, such as Java, C#, Python, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, or proprietary vendor languages.
- Expertise in Java 8 or higher and the Spring ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience with frontend application security, including tokens, headers, and policies.
- Experience with NgRx, RxJS, OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus; WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, and MQ knowledge is beneficial.
