Responsibilities
- Own product features from idea, prototype, and architecture through implementation and release.
- Engage with customers, partners, and Sales to identify pain points and define product value.
- Conduct product discovery by forming hypotheses and validating them through lightweight experiments.
- Instrument owned areas and use metrics to support data-driven product decisions.
- Build pragmatic, scalable software for customer-facing web applications.
- Drive initiatives independently and communicate asynchronously in a remote-first environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience with end-to-end delivery responsibility for customer-facing web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and React, covering both frontend and backend development.
- Experience with product discovery, hypothesis formation, experimentation, and metrics-driven decision-making.
- Experience collaborating directly with customers and partners to extract actionable insights.
- Native-level German proficiency and fluent English proficiency.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and sound judgment regarding effort, quality, and speed trade-offs.
- Experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI into production software is preferred.
- Familiarity with GDPR and EU AI Act considerations for AI-powered services is preferred.
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment is preferred.
