Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve CI/CD build and deployment processes for development, test, and production systems.
- Build, support, and optimize AWS infrastructure, including autoscaling and new service integrations.
- Integrate enterprise authentication services and manage access controls.
- Aggregate server logs and monitor for security and system incidents.
- Analyze system performance, including server load and resource usage.
- Apply configuration management, software revision control, security patching, hardening, documentation, and continuity practices.
- Enforce security and reliability best practices and drive initiatives such as access control and vulnerability testing.
- Work with A&A teams to maintain system security requirements and validate completion of engineering tasks.
- Participate in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings.
- Provide required on-call operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Security+ certification.
- Experience with AWS serverless infrastructure components.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Bash.
- Experience integrating processes and services across AWS, GitLab, OpenShift, Nexus, and Self Service.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines deploying or updating applications and services in OpenShift or AWS.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development processes.
- Knowledge of network technologies, infrastructure components, load balancers, firewalls, and virtual and physical infrastructure design.
- Willingness to learn customer-agency cross-domain services.
- Preferred qualifications include systems administration, cross-domain engineering, AWS Diode, access management and security groups, unit and functional testing, Jira, Confluence, customer engagement, and strong written and oral communication skills.
