Responsibilities
- Maintain computing systems used by the Information Security Risk and Compliance group.
- Analyze firewall policies and overall security information.
- Help provide oversight for security settings in cloud platforms.
- Stay current on security solutions, processes, attacks, and threat vectors.
- Provide feedback to improve Magna’s enterprise security.
- Perform general technical and compliance-related tasks.
Requirements
- A college degree or comparable work experience.
- Basic experience with Python, PHP, or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with cloud-platform security settings, networking basics, cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, firewall policies and configurations, database concepts, and API integration.
- English communication skills across listening, writing, and speaking.
- Analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, independent work, and project-execution abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dispersed, cross-cultural, global team.
