Responsibilities
- Lead tasks and projects independently from end to end.
- Provide technical influence over the engineering team by improving and guiding architecture.
- Design and develop simple, efficient, maintainable, reusable components and applications.
- Build scalable APIs and modular backend components.
- Document applications and architectural decisions.
- Ensure application observability in production and resolve incidents.
- Analyze and improve application scalability, stability, and security.
- Translate business needs with Product partners into creative, incremental, and efficient solutions.
- Reduce development-process complexity and recommend improvements to frameworks, practices, and workflows.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of system design and code design patterns.
- Experience implementing scalable APIs and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of system observability and relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience building reusable, modular backend components that support maintainability and scalability.
- Knowledge of cloud-service-based architectures.
- Practical experience with LLMs.
- Knowledge of prompt structuring and quality-control methods for GenAI.
- Ability to work with agile methodologies in a startup-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and inclusive decision-making skills.
