Responsibilities
- Lead a software engineering team from solution vision through production-ready implementation.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
- Review and test software components for compliance with design requirements and document test results.
- Contribute to system design, hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, COTS/GOTS decisions, and requirements analysis.
- Analyze current and future architecture and operating environments to identify and implement system improvements.
- Use modern architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and engineering tools to deliver end-to-end client solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of software engineering experience, or a high school diploma and 11+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing complex and diverse software systems from documented requirements.
- Java experience including Spring Boot, Swing/GUI development, JSON serialization and deserialization, Jackson or Gson, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Python experience including standard libraries and familiarity with data science packages.
- Experience with Docker containerization, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Niagara Files programming.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Ability to review and test software components and contribute to system-level and component-level design.
- UI development experience is preferred.
