Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable test suites for enterprise web and API applications using C#, SpecFlow, RestAssured, NUnit, and Selenium.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system-level, cross-browser, cross-platform, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimize feedback cycles in collaboration with DevOps teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, security, compliance, support, and operations teams on testability, quality risks, and release readiness.
- Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, prioritization, and production-incident-driven test improvements.
- Create test strategies, test plans, quality gates, metrics, and release-readiness reporting.
- Review automation code and mentor peers on testing frameworks, patterns, coding standards, and test design.
Requirements
- At least ten years of professional experience in software quality engineering and automated testing.
- Expert-level experience with C# automation, enterprise applications, microservices, and enterprise build systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with SpecFlow and behavior-driven development.
- Experience using RestAssured to test RESTful APIs, including authentication, headers, error handling, and edge cases.
- Experience using NUnit for unit and integration-level automated testing.
- Experience using Selenium for stable UI automation with wait strategies, page objects, and robust locators.
- Knowledge of version control systems, build tools, and CI platforms.
- Retail banking experience is valuable, including customer journeys involving onboarding, lending, payments, and account management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed teams.
- ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification or equivalent automation testing certification is required; C# or Selenium testing certifications are additionally valued.
