Responsibilities
- Design robust automated testing frameworks using C#, SpecFlow, RestAssured, NUnit, and Selenium for web and API applications.
- Develop scalable, reusable, maintainable automated test suites using modular design, parameterization, and configuration-driven execution.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, non-functional, cross-browser, cross-platform, accessibility, and security-related testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams to reduce feedback cycles and support safe releases.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, security, compliance, support, and operations teams on testability, risks, incidents, and quality goals.
- Coordinate defect triage, investigate root causes, prioritize remediation, and incorporate production lessons into regression coverage.
- Create test strategies, test plans, quality gates, test results, metrics, and release-readiness reporting.
- Review automation code and mentor peers on frameworks, coding standards, patterns, and test design.
- Adapt testing practices to hybrid collaboration and maintain clear documentation for distributed teams.
Requirements
- At least ten years of professional experience in software quality engineering and automated testing.
- Expert hands-on experience with C# automation, SpecFlow, RestAssured, NUnit, and Selenium.
- Experience designing automation frameworks and libraries for enterprise applications, microservices, and build systems.
- Experience validating RESTful APIs, including authentication, headers, positive and negative cases, edge cases, and error handling.
- Experience creating stable Selenium UI automation using wait strategies, page objects, and robust locator strategies.
- Knowledge of version control systems, build tools, and CI platforms.
- Experience in retail banking, including onboarding, lending, payments, or account-management journeys, is valuable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams in a hybrid model.
- ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification or an equivalent automation testing certification is required.
- Certifications in C# or Selenium-based testing are an additional advantage.
